“Beware of the Mystical ...

and Occult Kabbalah!”

With Rabbi, Dr. Reuven Ben Avraham-Goossens, PhD.

We should understand that the ‘Kabbalah’ has tragically become a mystical and esoteric tradition within our beloved faith. The ‘Kabbalah is often translated as “secret knowledge”, which explores the nature of אֱלֹהִים (Elohim - God), the creation of the world, and the inner meaning of the Torah. Now this may sound just fine, But ...

While the mystical and speculative aspects of the ‘Kabbalah’ (Speculative Kabbalah) focus on inner spiritual guidance and understanding of the divine, however the occult aspects of the practicalKabbalah’ involves ‘rituals’, ‘magic’, and the ‘manipulation using occultic and what is called spiritual forces’, in order to achieve worldly or spiritual aims. There is a historical tension between the occult practices and mainstream Hebraic focus on strict prohibition of this very evil magic!

And Remember ...
