Please do NOT visit this
site on שַׁבָּת - Shabbat or on
the ‘מוֹעֲדִים - Mo’a’dim - Feasts!
Please Note: On this page I will show the blessed four letter *“Memorial Name” of the
Almighty in Ivrit יְהוָה - YaHVaH, blessed be His Sanctified Name, which
we usually pronounce as “Adonai” (LORD) or “HaSHEM” (The
NAME). At all times please treat the most blessed Name with Sanctity and when
we even see the Name, יְהוָהwe should say, בָּרוּךְ
שֵׁם
קָדוֹשׁוֹ - Baruch Shem Kadosho - Blessed be His Holy Name!
The Sacred Name should ONLY be used during
our daily תְּפִלָּה - Te’fee’lah (Prayers) and regular בְּרָכָה - Be’ra’chah (blessings) & during Torah
studies, but NEVER during a general conversation!
“This is My Name FOREVER, and this
is My Memorial to ALL Generations.” Shemot
- Exodus 3:15. (JPS).
“I am יְהוָה, that is My Name; and My glory will I not give to another”. Yeshayahu – Isaiah 42:8. (JPS)
Throughout this site I may use
any of the following three versions of the TaNaKh: 1. “Jewish Publication Society” (JPS), 2. “Sefaria.org” (SEF), 3. “Mechon-Mamre.org” (MEC).
Colour coded
details of the - TaNaKh: 1. Torah =

“And the truth about all other so-called ‘holy writings’”.
The official
Hebrew Scriptures contain the most holy ever written, compared with those works
by men, or rabbis of a much later date, which some say they are holy works, but
they are NOT”!. The whole of the Hebrew Scriptures are known as being called
the “Tanakh”, which is an acronym for “Torah”, “Nevi’im”, and “Ketuvim”. These three sections comprise the entire of the
Hebrew sacred Scriptures. We need to understand that there have not been a
single or any further so-called writings from our beloved אֱלֹהִים
- Elohim (God), although there are many works by various rabbis, but these are
parts of their ideology, some even have mystical and Occult theology, and they
should not be used at all, or compare them to the Tanakh!
The first
section of the “Tanakh”, commences both the order of the three books therein and
its priority, for it is the blessed “Torah”. The Torah contains the entire story of the
Hebrew history, as well as remarkable teaching in these amazing first five
books of the Tanakh being of course the “Torah”, it is also known as the
Pentateuch: Bereshit - Genesis, Shemot - Exodus, Vayikra - Leviticus, Be’midbar - Numbers, and Devarim
- Deuteronomy.
In these books, אֱלֹהִים
(God’s) people hear the
story of creation and the beginnings of their history under the patriarchs,
Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. They learn of their early history as slaves in Egypt
and their miraculous rescue by אֱלֹהִים
- Elohim. They receive the law from אֱלֹהִים
- Elohim, given to Moshe -Moses on Mount. Horeb (the Mountain of אֱלֹהִים), and they
much later came to the land promised to them by אֱלֹהִים.
Therefore, the “Torah”
is the most sacred literature of us the Hebrews and is treated with the highest
respect. A Sefer Torah is a Torah copied by hand on a parchment scroll and kept
in a synagogue’s Ark. It is read from during Sabbath services and other Jewish feasts!
The second section of the Tanakh is “Nevi’im”, which means Prophets, and includes historical and prophetic words to אֱלֹהִים (God’s) people from the entry into the Promised Land under Yahushua - Joshua’s leadership, through the early Judges, and then from the triumphant kingdom of Dovid - David to the decaying kingdoms of Israel and Judah, and to the last words of the prophets. It is comprised of 21 books: Joshua, Judges, 1 and 2 Samuel, 1 and 2 Kings, Isaiah, Jeremiah, Ezekiel, Hosea, Joel, Amos, Obadiah, Jonah, Micah, Nahum, Habakkuk, Zephaniah, Haggai, Zechariah, and Malachi.
The third section is Ketuvim, which
means Writings, and these 13 books, being Psalms, Proverbs, Job, Song of
Songs, Ruth, Lamentations, Ecclesiastes, Esther, Daniel, Ezra, Nehemiah, 1 and
2 Chronicles, contains the riches of Hebraic poetry, wisdom, literature,
philosophy, history, and of course Prophecy. With the sole exception of Daniel,
many Jews consider these books of lesser inspiration than the first two
sections.
These three sections together contain all the books what Christians in
general dare to call it the blessed Tanakh” - “The Old Testament”. However, our
order of books differs from that of all the Christian canon’s.
The Christian canon closes with Malachi, the last of our prophets, while our
Hebraic canon ends with 1 and 2 Chronicles and the return of the Hebrews from
Babylonian Exile!
Aside from these
biblical books, we Hebrews sadly recognize the Mishnah, and a whole collection
of commentaries on the law and rabbinic teachings assembled around C.E. 200 and up to two or three centuries that followed,
rabbis pored over this collection and compiled a large body of further
commentary called the Gemara. Together, the Mishnah
and the Gemara make up the Talmud, and sadly they
dared to call this new man-made text, ‘holy scriptures’, however it is
far from being holy, nor equal with our beloved “Tanakh”. The Talmud and
the myriad Midrash (interpretations and commentary on various scriptures) are
simply man-made words and comments, none of which was officiated by our beloved
יְהוָה
אֱלֹהִים
- the LORD Elohim, בָּרוּךְ
שֵׁם
קָדוֹשׁוֹ - “Baruch Shem Kadosho” - “Blessed be His Holy Name!” Amen.

In Conclusion, a Question to Deepen
the Conversation:
Which part of this Tanach study or possibly a
particular line or statement within it has touched you the most? And
how do you feel about spending more time studying our beloved Tanakh? I pray
that you are doing well as a faithful Hebrew, and אֱלֹהִים - Elohim willing you are
upholding as many as possible of our blessed Mitzvoth’s?
I am well aware that the modern world sadly
contains too many deviations as well as problems that seem to get in the way of our Hebrew lifestyle.
Yet worse than that, these days there are far too many enticements, which can
so easily throw many off track, and
I know that has happened far too much. Thus, if there are struggles
that are taking place in your life, be it at this or at any time, I am well
aware that sadly it can often have a terrible and a cruel effect upon your
life?
Dear reader, please remember this, pray for
peace and solitude in your life, and then work on keeping as calm as possible
and learn to improve your life, for אֱלֹהִים, בָּרוּךְ
אֱלֹהִים - Bless Elohim, He is always there and
ready to help and guide you!
This site was originally set up for those who
needed to return to our blessed and wonderful faith, thus be wise and work on
your faith and pray at least three times a day, and always seek אֱלֹהִים - Elohim’s guidance!
Remember what אֱלֹהִים - Elohim, blessed be
He, said the following via a number of our prophets...
“Return unto Me, and I will return unto you, saith צְבָאוֹת- יְהוָה- the LORD
of hosts”. Mal’a’chi -
Malachi 3:7. MEC).
And Remember ...
Enjoy your
Sabbath Rest, Shabbat Shalom!
