Psalm
53

Please do NOT visit this
site on Shabbat or on the ‘מוֹעֲדִים - Mo’a’dim - Feasts!
Please Note:
On this page I may show the four letter blessed “Memorial
Name” of the Almighty in Ivrit - יָהּוָה - YaHVaH, blessed
be His Sanctified Name, which we usually pronounce as “Adonai” or “HaShem”.
At all times please treat the most sacred Name with sanctity and when we even
see the Name, יָהּוָה, we should say, “blessed
be His Sanctified Name.”
Note: The blessed Name should ONLY be used during and
your daily תְּפִלָּה - Te’fee’lah (Prayers) and regular בְּרָכָה - Be’ra’chah (blessings) donning your צִיצִית - Tzitzit and טַלִּית - Tallit, as well before food and drinks, etc.
Let us look at what Shemot - Exodus chapter 3, verse 15 has to say?
“Thus shalt thou
say unto the children of Israel: יָהוָה -
the LORD, the אֱלֹהִים (God) of your fathers, the אֱלֹהִים of Avraham -
Abraham, the אֱלֹהִים of Yitzchak -
Isaac, and the אֱלֹהִים of Ya’akov -
Jacob, hath sent me unto you”.
In this verse the question is; what comes next?
“This is My Name (יָהוָה - Yod-He-Vav-He) FOREVER, and this is My MEMORIAL to ALL GENERATIONS.” Shemot -
Exodus 3:15. (JPS).
“I am יָהוָה, that is My Name;
and My glory will I not give to another”.
Yeshayahu – Isaiah 42:8. (JPS).
Throughout this
site I will be using three versions of the “TaNaKh” ... such as the 1. “Jewish Publication Society”
(JPS), 2. “Sefaria.org”
(SEF)
& 3. “Mechon-Mamre.org” (MEC).
“TaNaKh”,
which is an acronym for תּוֹרָה - “Torah”, נְבִיאִים - “Nevi’im”, and כְּתוּבִים - “Ketuvim”, and as you can see it is colour
coded.
Torah = History & Law / Nevi’im = Prophets & *Ketuvim = Writtings).
*Ketuvim includes: poetical books - Psalms, Proverbs, Job, the Megillot, or Scrolls - Song of Solomon, Ruth, Lamentations of
Jeremiah, Ecclesiastes, and Esther, prophecy of Daniel, and
history of Ezra, Nehemiah, and Chronicles I & II.
*Although some minor alterations have
been made relating to Names and Attributes having been corrected.
YYYYYYY
Tehillim - Psalm 53
And the Shame of the Translators!
With Dr. Rabbi. Reuven Ben Avraham, PhD.
The Blessed Name
of יָהוָה was removed seven
times from this Tehillim and they added his Attribute, which is of course אֱלֹהִים. Sadly
our Heavenly Father has been incorrectly called by a pagan name being *‘God’,
which has been placed at least in the Ivrit with אֱלֹהִים, but in other languages with that horrid ‘god’ thing, which is an utter
disgrace!
Remember what our
beloved Heavenly Father had said about tempering with the scriptures!
“Ye shall not
add unto the word which I command you, neither
shall ye diminish from it, that ye may keep the commandments of יָהוָה your אֱלֹהִים which I command
you”. Devarim - Deuteronomy 4:2.
Moshe - Moses
exhorts Israel to obey the statutes and ordinances just given. Verse 1 opens
with a charge to “hearken unto the statutes and unto the ordinances.” Whilst
Verse 2 delivers the ultimate warning against adding or subtracting
from אֱלֹהִים word. Yet rabbis of old simply did not uphold the
law, they think that they are above everything! They make the excuse that it
was all done just in case we would blaspheme the blessed Name. Well Mal’a’chi - Malachi was told something very different by the Heavenly Father,
below are some simple facts, and you will now understand that we do not tend to
read this chapter 2 in general!
However, we now
come to what has been done by those who disobeyed אֱלֹהִים with Psalm 53, where they deliberately removed the
Sacred Name of יָהוָה and replaced it each time with אֱלֹהִים - Elohim. I do need to add that has been done to other Scriptures
throughout the Tanakh, thus they defiled the Law! Because they broke the Law
some bitter words came from
Tehillim – Psalm
53:
In this Tehillim,
every single time you see אֱלֹהִים (God) although in the original old scripts it
contained the most Sacred Name of יָהוָה,
blessed be His Sanctified Name, in each place. However it was decided, by both the priests and rabbis
to simply remove the blessed Name. Even though we the Israelites had been using
this very Sacred Name in prayer, etc, since for so very long, until in those of
latter days of בֵּית
הַמִּקְדָּשׁ
הַשֵּׁנִי - the Second
Temple, insulted. אֱלֹהִים- יָהוָה(the LORD
God’s) thus His wroth came upon the priests and rabbis, as we will find out a
little later in this study.
1. “For the
Leader; upon Mahalath, Maschil of
David.
2. The fool hath
said in his heart: ‘There is no אֱלֹהִים (God); they have dealt corruptly, and have done abominable iniquity; there
is none that doeth good.
3. אֱלֹהִים looked forth from
heaven upon the children of men, to see if there were any man of understanding, that did seek after אֱלֹהִים.
4. Every one of them
is unclean, they are together become impure; there is none that doeth good, no,
not one.
5. ‘Shall not the
workers of iniquity know it, who eat
up My people as they eat bread, and call not upon אֱלֹהִים?’
6. There are they in
great fear, where no fear was; for אֱלֹהִים hath scattered the
bones of him that encampeth against
thee; Thou hast put them to shame, because אֱלֹהִים (God) hath rejected them.
7. Oh that
the salvation of Israel were come out of
Zion! When אֱלֹהִים turneth the
captivity of His people, let Jacob rejoice, let Israel be glad.” Tehillim –
Psalm 53:1-7.
It is obvious that אֱלֹהִים was
far from happy what the The-Sopherim, the
Priest’s and not to forget the Rabbis who had not
just removed his “Memorial Name”; but also had made countless other changes then and continued to make them
much later and they are still doing it!
We need to read
what the Prophet Mal’a’chi wrote
in chapter 2:1 to 4 of his book, for אֱלֹהִים,
blessed be He, clearly said a great deal on what was happening! And we should
know the truth of what did happen and why they suddenly decided to completly
remove the sacred “Memorial Name” which went directly
against אֱלֹהִים (Elohim’s Commandment which was as follows”!
*“This is MY NAME FOREVER, and this
is MY MEMORIAL to ALL GENERATIONS.” Shemot - Exodus 3:15. (JPS).
Mal’a’chi -
Malachi chapter 2:1 to 4:
1. And now, O
priests, this charge is for you:
2. Unless you obey and unless you lay it to heart, and do honour to My Name said אֱלֹהִים of Hosts, I will send a curse and turn your
blessings into curses. Indeed, I have turned them into curses, because you do
not lay it to heart.
3. I will put your seed under a ban, and I will strew dung upon your faces,
the dung of your festal sacrifices, and you shall be carried out to its heap.
4. Know,
then, that I have sent this charge to you that My covenant
with Levi may endure, said אֱלֹהִים of Hosts.”
8 “But you have turned away from that course: You have made the many stumble through
your rulings; you have corrupted the covenant of the Levites, said אֱלֹהִים of Hosts.” Mal’a’chi - Malachi chapter
2:1-4 & 8. (JPS).
What we do know
about Malachi is that אֱלֹהִים - Elohim also said to
Children of Israel;
“Return unto Me, and I will return unto you, saith צְבָאוֹת יָהוָה - the LORD of hosts”. Mal’a’chi - Malachi 3:7. (JPS).
