Throughout this site I may use any

Remember the following truth from our beloved Torah!
“Ye shall NOT ADD TO THE WORD which
I command you, NEITHER SHALL YE DIMINISH FROM
IT, that ye may keep the commandments of אֱלֹהֵיכֶם יְהוָה - the LORD your Eloleichem,
which I command you”. Davarim - Deuteronomy 4:2. (JPS-1917).

week, why not join us and read a Psalm each day. Below is a list of the seven
Psalms, especially chosen for us to be read on a weekly basis!
During each week, let us read the following Psalms:
Sunday: Psalm 24, Monday: Psalm 48, Tuesday: Psalm 82, Wednesday: Psalm 94, Thursday: Psalm 81, Friday: Psalm 93, Shabbat/Saturday: Psalm 92.

Wednesday Psalm 94:
1. “O יְהוָה - LORD, Thou אֱלֹהִים - Elohim to whom
vengeance belongeth, Thou אֱלֹהִים - Elohim to whom
vengeance belongeth, shine forth. 2. Lift up Thyself,
Thou Judge of the earth; render to the proud their recompense. 3. יְהוָה - LORD, how long shall the wicked, how long shall the wicked
exult? 4. They gush out, they speak arrogancy;
all the workers of iniquity bear themselves loftily. 5. They crush Thy people, O יְהוָה - LORD, and afflict Thy heritage. 6. They slay the widow and the stranger, and murder
the fatherless. 7. And they say: ‘ יְהוָה - the LORD will not see, neither will the אֱלֹהִים - Elohim of Jacob
give heed’. 8. Consider, ye brutish among the people;
and ye fools, when will ye understand? 9. He that planted the ear, shall He not hear? He
that formed the eye, shall He not see? 10. He that instructeth nations, shall not He correct?
even He that teacheth man knowledge?
11. יְהוָה - the LORD knoweth the thoughts of man, that they are vanity.
12. Happy is the man whom Thou instructest,
O יְהוָה - LORD, and teachest out of Thy law;
13. That Thou mayest give him rest from the
days of evil, until the pit be digged for the wicked.
14. For יְהוָה - the LORD will not cast off His people,
neither will He forsake His inheritance. 15. For right shall return unto justice, and all the upright in heart shall follow it. 16. Who will rise up for me against the evil-doers?
Who will stand up for me against the workers of iniquity? 17. Unless יְהוָה - the LORD had been my help, my soul had soon dwelt in
silence. 18. If I say: ‘My foot slippeth’, Thy
mercy, O יְהוָה - LORD, holdeth me up. 19. When my cares are many within me, Thy comforts
delight my soul. 20. Shall the seat of wickedness have
fellowship with Thee, which frameth mischief by statute? 21. They gather themselves together against the soul
of the righteous, and condemn innocent blood. 22. But יְהוָה - the LORD hath been my high tower, and my אֱלֹהִים - Elohim the rock of
my refuge. 23. And He hath brought upon them their own
iniquity, and will cut them off in their own evil; יְהוָה
אֱלֹהֵינוּ - the LORD our Eloheinu will cut them off”.

Psalm 94 is sung
by the Levites on Wednesday, as this Psalm addresses the painful existential
question of why the wicked seem to ‘triumph’, ultimately offering profound
comfort in אֱלֹהִים - Elohim’s loyalty to the suffering.
Wednesday: Psalm 94. (The Song of the Day for Wednesday).
Verses 1-2 (“O יְהוָה - LORD, Thou אֱלֹהִים - Elohim to whom vengeance belongeth...”):
It is clarified that ‘vengeance’ (nekamot) here is
not a petty revenge. It is the restoration of cosmic order. It is a plea for
the ‘Judge of the earth’ to lift Himself up and balance the scales of history.
Verses 3-7 (“The
wicked... triumph...”):
The text describes the arrogance of oppressors who crush אֱלֹהִים - Elohim’s heritage while foolishly thinking, ‘יְהוָה
- the LORD will not
see’. They mistake אֱלֹהִים - Elohim’s patience for blindness.
Verses 8-11 (“Understand,
ye brutish among the people...”):
The Psalmist uses flawless logic to mock this arrogance. ‘He that planted the
ear, shall He not hear? He that formed the eye, shall He not see?’ The Creator
of human perception possesses an infinitely deeper awareness of every hidden
deed and thought.
Verses 12-14 (“Happy
is the man whom Thou chastenest, O LORD...”):
This provides immense comfort for times of illness and trial. For we can link this verse to ‘Yissurin shel Ahavah’ (chastisements of
love). Suffering can be a refining fire, teaching a person deeper Torah.
Verse 14 provides the ultimate anchor: ‘For יְהוָה
- the LORD will not
cast off His people, neither will He forsake His inheritance’. No matter how
dark the room or the historical exile, אֱלֹהִים - Elohim never abandons us!
Verses 17-19 (“Unless יְהוָה
- the LORD had been my
help... In the multitude of my thoughts within me, Thy comforts delight my
soul”.):
When anxiety and physical weakness overwhelm the mind (‘my foot slippeth’), אֱלֹהִים - Elohim’s presence acts as an immediate
lifeline. His internal comforts soothe the turbulent soul.
Verses 22-23 (“But יְהוָה -
the LORD hath been my high tower...”):
The Psalm closes with unshakable faith. אֱלֹהִים - Elohim is our fortress, and the ultimate
destiny of evil is self-destruction, while the righteous will find eternal
refuge in Him!

who desired to return to our blessed and wonderful faith. Thus be wise and work
on your faith and pray at least two or three times a day (if possible) and
always seek our beloved אֱלֹהִים - Elohim’s guidance,
for His love is always with us, especially when we seek Him, blessed be He! However
this site has become very much a teaching site with hundreds of studies!
Remember what אֱלֹהִים - Elohim, blessed be
He, said the following through a number of our prophets...
“The More Torah, the More Life”,
For Elohim is the One who
gave us our ... “Life!”
May the שָׁלוֹם - Shalom = Peace
of צְבָאוֹת- יְהוָה= the LORD of hosts, be with
you, and please always uphold our blessed שַׁבָּת - Shabbat, as well as
the מוֹעֲדִים - Mo’a’dim - Feasts, and continue saying your
daily תְּפִלָּה - Tefeelah’s - Prayers and
regular בְּרָכָה - Be’ra’chah’s - blessings before food
and drinks, etc!
