Re Tanakh versions:
Throughout
this site I may use any of three versions of the Tanakh: 1. “Jewish Publication Society” (JPS-1917), 2. “Mechon-Mamre.org” (MEC), and 3. “Sefaria.org” (SEF), three brilliant versions, However, the
JPS-1917 is my preferred version!
Colour coded
details of our beloved TaNaKh:
1. Torah =
History & Law, 2. Nevi’im = The Prophets. 3. *Ketuvim = all other Writings.
*The Ketuvim - Includes, Poetical
books - Psalms, Proverbs, Job, the Megillot, or
Scrolls - Song of Solomon, Ruth, Lamentations of
Jeremiah, Ecclesiastes, and Esther, prophecy of Daniel, and history
of Ezra, Nehemiah, and Chronicles I & II.
Please Note: Some alterations
or (additions) have been made relating to ‘Names’ and ‘Attributes’ of אֱלֹהִים - Elohim (God), having been corrected like it once was pre
the “Masoretic Text”.

Remember the following truth from our beloved Torah!
“Ye shall NOT ADD TO THE WORD which
I command you, NEITHER SHALL YE DIMINISH FROM
IT, that ye may keep the commandments of אֱלֹהֵיכֶם יְהוָה - the LORD your Eloleichem,
which I command you”. Davarim - Deuteronomy 4:2. (JPS-1917).

With Rabbi, Dr. Reuven Ben Avraham-Goossens, PhD.
Let us first read the loving promise of our beloved אֱלֹהִים - Elohim:
“And I will dwell among the children of
Could anything be better said than this blessed promise? They needed to acknowledge their אֱלֹהִים - Elohim, who brought them out of slavery. And as they moved along they received Laws to ‘uphold’ and ‘keep’!
There is no doubt that our beloved Torah is ‘vast’, and ‘fulfilling’ its directives is a blessing.
There is no doubt that even for all those who dearly love Torah and its mitzvahs, there are of course so many details to get right. Personally I would advise that it is vital to read and read again, and learn all about our beloved Torah as it is so full of treasures. You have to always do the very best you can, given your conditions. Perfection is not always possible, but we are told, “according to your effort there is a reward”. And what is that reward? It can be many things, ‘some material’ and ‘some spiritual. But ultimately, the ultimate reward is summed up by these words;
“And I will dwell among the children of
This is what all of it is for, to make it
possible for אֱלֹהִים
- Elohim to dwell in our midst, ‘personally’ and ‘nationally’. All of the
mitzvahs and even the myriad of details allow us to build a world in which the
Divine Presence, as Holy as it is, can dwell among us. Some might prefer
something more tangible, more material, as their reward. But that’s only
because they have yet to know the ultimate pleasure of there being a dwelling
place for אֱלֹהִים
- Elohim.
How does אֱלֹהִים - Elohim make an impact in our lives? Not just an idea or an ideal, but a palpable and influencing presence. In brief, how and when does אֱלֹהִים - Elohim “reside” within us?
אֱלֹהִים יְהוָה - the LORD Elohim resides within us because he took us out of Egypt and has guided our miraculous journey and survival ever since that epochal moment. He resides within us because he gifted us with the Torah, a manual for living a life filled with ‘purpose’, ‘passion’ and ‘perseverance’. אֱלֹהִים - Elohim resides within us because he is the model parent. One who ceaselessly ‘educates’, ‘elevates’, ‘forgives’ and ‘loves us’.

This site was originally created, for those who desired to return to our blessed and wonderful faith. Thus be wise and work on your faith and pray at least two or three times a day (if possible) and always seek our beloved אֱלֹהִים - Elohim’s guidance, for His love is always with us, especially when we seek Him, blessed be He! However this site has become very much a teaching site with hundreds of studies!
Remember what אֱלֹהִים - Elohim, blessed be He, said the following through a number of
our prophets...
“The More Torah,
the More Life”,
For Elohim is the One who gave us our ... “Life!”
