“Ye

you, NEITHER SHALL YE DIMINISH FROM IT,
that ye may keep the commandments of יְהוָה
אֱלֹהֵיכֶם - the LORD your Eloleichem, which I command you”. Davarim -
Deuteronomy 4:2. (JPS-1917).

My Closing Message:
The central
theme of this passage is the sovereignty and mercy of אֱלֹהִים - Elohim. It illustrates that אֱלֹהִים - Elohim is not just the אֱלֹהִים - Elohim of the Hebrews, but יְהוָה - the LORD of the entire earth. This account serves as a warning against “convenience-based
repentance” confessing sin only to escape consequences while the heart remains
unchanged. Ultimately, it encourages the believer that אֱלֹהִים - Elohim’s purposes will be accomplished, and His Name will be known, regardless
of the level of opposition.
