Remember the following truth from our beloved Torah!

Ye shall NOT ADD TO THE WORD which I command you, NEITHER SHALL YE DIMINISH FROM IT, that ye may keep the commandments of יְהוָה אֱלֹהֵיכֶם - the LORD your Eloleichem, which I command you”. Davarim - Deuteronomy 4:2. (JPS-1917).

However, sadly both the later priests as well as our rabbis of long ago and of today have, and are shamefully disobeying this command of אֱלֹהִים יְהוָה - the LORD Elohim, בָּרוּךְ שֵׁם קָדוֹשׁוֹ - ‘Baruch Shem Kadosho’ – ‘Blessed be His Holy Name!’

What has the Dead Sea Scrolls taught Us?

So much more than we realise..

With Rabbi, Dr. Reuven Ben Avraham-Goossens, PhD.

Just before the study, I would like to commence with one more important quote from Yahushua - Joshua Ch 1:7-8. (JPS-1917).

“Be strong and courageous. Be careful to obey the entire Torah My servant Moshe has given you; do not turn from it to the right or to the left, that you may be successful wherever you go. Do not let this Book of the Torah depart from your mouth; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful.” Yahushua - Joshua Ch 1:7-8. (JPS-1917).

Introduction:

The Dead Sea Scrolls are from scrolls discovered in the ‘Qumran Caves’ and the Scrolls found are a set of ancient Hebrew manuscripts. They were discovered over a period of ten years, between 1946 and 1956, at the Qumran Caves near ‘Ein Feshkha in the ‘West Bank’, on the northern shore of the Dead Sea.

As after many years of testing at the University of Groningen in the Netherlands, it was discovered that some of the scrolls are in fact much older than we had originally anticipated, and we now know that soe came as far back as from the Second Temple period.

Certain scrolls have been Dated from the 3rd century BCE to the 1st century CE, thus the Dead Sea Scrolls include some of the oldest surviving manuscripts of entire books later included in the biblical canons, including deuterocanonical manuscripts from late Second Temple, as well as extra biblical books. Bt from these books or parchments’, they cast a new light on the emergence of Christianity as well as what became ‘Rabbinic Judaism’. In the wider sense, the Dead Sea Scrolls also include similar findings from elsewhere in the Judean Desert, of which some are from later centuries. Almost all of the 15,000 scrolls and scroll fragments are held in the Shrine of the Book at the Israel Museum, which is located in Jerusalem.

Therefore, the Dead Sea Scrolls are obviously considered some of the oldest known manuscripts of the Tanakh, our Holy Scriptures. The Scrolls, as stated before, provide valuable insights in to the practices and beliefs of ancient Hebraism, but it covers also of our faith of our that time, and the troubles within our community!

It is noted in the scrolls of the takeover of us, the Hebrews, which was suddenly renamed ‘Rabbinic Judaism’, and thus we the ‘Hebrews’, also known as ‘Israelites’ suddenly became, Yahudi (Judeans or Jews) a name that was inflicted on us, by the evil ‘Haman’ in the Book of Ester, who desired to kill the Hebrews! This just proves how much rabbis at that time really knew, which was in truth, little to nothing! Sadly they became much worse for they created much later a brand new false law, which was wholly written by rabbis, and not our blessed Elohim, blessed be He! And some have asked in later days, why were we so punished so much! Think about it?

In fact the ‘Sadducees’ who were an ancient community of Hebrews, and they totally rejected the ‘Oral Law’, adhering only to the blessed written Torah. Another group, the ‘Karaites, also rejected the fake ‘Oral Law’, with them, and wisely followed the “Torah only” position! The truth is that all later writings’ by rabbis were solely written by man, and thus their works should never have been called ‘holy books’, yet current rabbis continue to claim these writings are Holy. But worse still the majority of rabbis to this very day love an evil mystic work, being the evil ‘Zohar’, which was written in 1 CE and much later it became part of the mystical and the highly occult work, being the hideous ‘Kabbalah!

What is now called the ‘Jewish faith’ (remember this was a name of insult by Hamas), is nothing compared to the Torah based faith of us the Hebrews or Israelites”!

What did Elohim so clearly state?

Ye shall NOT ADD TO THE WORD which I command you, NEITHER SHALL YE DIMINISH FROM IT, that ye may keep the commandments of יְהוָה אֱלֹהֵיכֶם (the LORD your Eloleichem) which I command you”. Davarim - Deuteronomy 4:2. (JPS-1917).

Sadly rabbis have simply refused to follow those precious words given by our beloved אֱלֹהִים Elohim, blessed be He, and instead of having the original 613 Mitzvoth, yet rabbis added thousand’s more laws. All you have to do is ask yourself, how any human can remember all those countless additional laws, and do that without any written work? The fact is there is not a single soul on earth that is able to remember so much, and yes thousands of years later? For they were simple humans, and not Elohim inspired individuals!

I am well aware that the modern world sadly contains far too many deviations as well as problems that seem to get in the way of our Hebrew lifestyle. Yet worse than that, these days there are far too many enticements, which can so easily throw many off track. Thus, if there are struggles that are taking place in your life, be it at this or at any time, I am well aware that sadly it can often have a terrible and a cruel effect upon your life?
